Unlimited Proprietary Membership Converting to Nonproprietary Individual Golf Membership
Any existing unlimited proprietary family golf member who wishes to convert their membership to a non- proprietary individual golf membership may do so by two alternative paths:
1.) Recruitment of a New Member. New member is defined as an individual who has not been a member of Valley Hi Country Club for 12 consecutive months. The unlimited proprietary family golf member brings in a new non-proprietary individual golf member or a new unlimited proprietary family golf member at any time subject to Board approval. The initiation fee for the non-proprietary individual golf membership will be waived and the transferring member shall not receive any monetary value for his or her relinquished unlimited proprietary family golf membership.
2.) Seniority List. When a new unlimited proprietary family golf member or a new non- proprietary individual golf member is approved by the Board, an existing unlimited proprietary family golf member may convert to the non- proprietary individual golf membership based upon a seniority list and payment of a conversion transfer fee established by the Board. The Board must approve this transfer. Priority among the unlimited proprietary family golf members requesting such conversion shall be determined by seniority, as evidenced by the total number of years and months that an unlimited proprietary family golf member has paid dues to the Club. Unlimited proprietary family golf members shall notify the Club's General Manager of their desire to convert their membership by completing, signing and delivering the form provided by the Club requesting the conversion. The Club shall establish the seniority list of the unlimited proprietary family golf members desiring such conversions. This seniority list shall be established within 45 days after this category of membership is approved by the Club members. This list shall be updated annually by the Club according to procedures established and approved by the Board.
Initiation fee, transfer fee, monthly dues, and minimums are determined from time to time by the Board of Directors.
